摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably and efficiently prevent corrosion of an absorption tower of a carbon dioxide absorbing device by measuring the electrochemical potential and temp. of an absorbent from which carbon dioxide is separated and by increasing pentavalent vanadium ion in the absorbent when the electrochemical potential is out of a specified range. SOLUTION: In the carbon dioxide absorption device, the source gas is introduced through a port 12 near the lower end of an absorption tower 10, CO2 is absorbed by an absorbing liquid introduced through a port 13 near the upper end, and hydrogen gas is obtd. from the tower top 14. The absorbing liquid which absorbs CO2 is discharged from the tower bottom 11 and then introduced to a port 23 near the upper end of the separation tower 20, where the absorbent is separated from CO2 gas. The CO2 gas is discharged from the tower top 24 while the regenerated absorbent is obtd. from the tower bottom 21. In this case, the electrochemical potential and temp. of the absorbent from which carbon dioxide is separated are measured. The electrochemical potential is corrected based on the measured temp., and when the corrected electrochemical potential is out of a specified range, pentavalent vanadium ion in the absorbent is increased.</p>
