WASTE PLASTIC TREATING DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve treatment efficiency while preventing dioxin pollution. SOLUTION: This treating device has a pyrolysis furnace 9 which dechlorinates waste plastics by pyrolysis, a rotary cutter 23 which is installed within the pyrolysis furnace 9 and minces the waste plastics fed therein by obtaining the driving force of a motor 25 and a vacuum pump 32 which reduces the in-furnace pressure of the pyrolysis furnace 9 down to max. 0.2 atm or below. The furnace wall temp. of the pyrolysis furnace 9 is set at 290 to 350 deg.C in the case of the waste plastics contg. polyvinyl chloride(PVC) and is set at 290 to 320 deg.C in the case of the waste plastics contg. the PVC and polyethylene terephthalate(PET).
