AIR ASSISTING CONTROL DEVICE FOR EXHAUST GAS TURBINE SUPERCHARGER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate generation of smoking in an engine by restraining lowering of an engine speed at the time of sudden load increase in the diesel engine. SOLUTION: A time differential coefficientλ=dR/dt of a rack amount R is computed by a control unit 12 based on the rack amount R of a rack 7a of a fuel injection pump 7 of a diesel engine 1 expressed by a detection signal of a fuel sensor 9. The control unit 12 determines whether the computed differential coefficientλis larger than a positive fixed valueλ0 or not. When 'YES' is determined, an opening and closing valve 5 provided between a compressed air source 3 and a blower part 2e of an exhaust turbine supercharger 2 is opened by the control unit 12 until a time change rate dλ/dt of the coefficientλchanges from positive value to a negative value.
