PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink containing particles of colored resin emulsion. SOLUTION: In an ink composition for water-based ink jetting that contains particles of colored resin emulsion prepared from water, coloring agent and an olefinic monomer, at least one of olefinic monomers contains coloring agent, the olefinic coloring component is prepared by condensation reaction of a functional coloring agent with an olefin-containing reactive substance. The product formed by the condensation reaction is represented by the formula (Dye means a chromophoric group of the coloring agent; R is carbonyl, carboxylate, oxygen, or an arylene and R' is H or an alkyl). |
