<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for suppressing generation of hexavalent selenium (Se<6+> ) for an absorption tower of a wet desulfurization device. SOLUTION: This device is constituted so that oxidation of selenium contained in exhaust gas is suppressed when the exhaust gas generating after incineration of coal is desulfurized using an absorbing liquid in the absorption tower 1. In this case, a CO2 stripping means 17 where a portion of the exhaust gas is branched and blown into the liquid in a liquid standing part 1a of the absorption tower 1 to strip CO2 in the above liquid and to accelerate dissolution of SO2 into the above liquid, and a reductive atmosphere based on SO2 is kept, is equipped.</p> |
