PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject compound useful as a silane coupling agent, a silicon modifying agent for special uses or the like by adding an unsaturated compound having at least one terminal unsaturated group to a specificα,ω- dihydrosiloxane. SOLUTION: An unsaturated compound having at least one terminal unsaturated group (e.g. allyl acrylate) is added to anα,ω-dihydrosiloxane, expressed by a structural formula represented by formula I [R<1> to R<3> are each an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl; X is an alkoxy, an aryloxy, an alkyl, a cycloalkyl or an aryl ; (n) is a positive number of 1-10,000] to thereby afford the objective organosilicon compound, represented by formula II (R<0> is a residue formed as a result of addition reaction of the unsaturated compound and a carbon functional group bindable to an organic compound) and useful as a silane coupling agent capable of manifesting good coupling performances for calcium carbonate or the like, a silicone modifying agent for special uses or the like capable of manifesting high-level functions.
