PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin molding apparatus capable of molding a resin to produce a precise optical part such as a lens or the like with high accuracy. SOLUTION: Upper and lower molds are formed of a cermet being a composite material of ceramic and a metal or an alloy thereof and, by appropriately selecting the compsn. of the cermet, the heat conductivity of both molds is made larger than that of core pieces 11, 12 and the coefficient of thermal expansion of them is made equal to or less than that of both core pieces 11, 12. Therefore, the temp. distribution generated in the upper and lower molds at a time of molding is reduced to enhance the molding quality of a resin and, by preventing the distortion of the upper and lower molds caused by the internal pressure of a plastic resin at a time of molding, the molding quality of the plastic resin can be enhanced. |
