PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the subject relatively simplified structure designed to bind waste straw while the binding position comes constant and the feet ends are favorably made even irrespective of the variance in the waste straw's length. SOLUTION: This structure has such a system that threshed waste straw is nipped and carried with a carrying chain 4 and a guide rail situated thereunder to a binding device 3; based on the result from a foot sensor 41 for detecting the foot position of waste straw fed to the binding device 3, a motor 35 is automatically operated to operate a screw shaft 34 to subject a beat trimming device 27 to movement regulation in the direction of the culm body so as to allow the beat trimming device 27 to act on the feet of the waste straw at the binding device 3; based on the detection result of the position of the beat trimming device 27 relative to the binding device 3, the terminal end side portion of the guide rail is subjected to contractile regulation relatively to the initial end side portion, and the binding device 3 is fed with the waste straw under position regulation in the direction of the culm body by the guide rail so as to bind the waste straw at a set position. |
