PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To weld a bracket to the outer cylinder of a vibration control rubber device without a thermal influence. SOLUTION: A cylinder type vibration control function part 16 comprises an inner cylinder 1; an outer cylinder 2; and vibration control rubber 3. Thereafter, the end face of the flange 10 of the outer cylinder 2 and the joining surface 15 on the bracket side of a bracket 4 are superposed with each other, and a joint wherein the end faces are brought into abutment against each other is welded with laser. In this case, the end face on the outer peripheral side of the flange 10 forming the joint is protruded to a position wherein a thermal influence on the vibration control rubber 3 is not exercised and separated from the vibration control rubber 3. A position wherein no thermal influence is exercised is decided through experiment based on a material to be welded, thickness, a laser weld condition, such as a penetration depth, an output, and a weld speed, and the limit surface temperature of rubber. |
