PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and an apparatus for producing an electret body, capable of making a material to be treated into an electret without being influenced by the shape of the material, not damaging the material to be treated by spark discharge, increasing the amount of electrostatic charge and hardly generating ozone. SOLUTION: This method for producing an electret body comprises generating ion by ionizing radiation and applying an electric field to the generated ion to attach the ion to a material 4 to be treated. The apparatus 1 for producing the electret body is equipped with an ionizing radiation generating device 2 and a means for applying an electric field to the ion generated by the ionizing radiation generating device 2. |
