PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive compsn. improved in moisture permeability by dissolving or dispersing a (meth)acrylic polymer, polypropylene glycol, and necessary additives in a solvent. SOLUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by dissolving or dispersing 5-60 wt.% (meth)acrylic polymer (which contains 1-10 pts.wt., pref. 3-8 pts.wt., N- vinylpyrrolidone) and 5-35 pts.wt., pref. 10-25 pts.wt., [based on 100 pts.wt. (meth)acrylic polymer] polypropylene glycol having a number average mol.wt. of 400-6,000, pref. 400-4,000, still pref. 2,000-4,000, together with additives such as an isocyanate crosslinker, a stabilizer, a colorant, a filer, a plasticizer, and a tackifier resin in a solvent. The compsn. is applied to a substrate and is dried under heating at 40-120 deg.C to form a pressure-sensitive adhesive layer with a thickness of 1-70μm, thus giving a pressure-sensitive adhesive tape having a moisture permeability of 1,000 g/m<2> .24 hr or higher. |
