METHOD FOR CLEANING POLYURETHANE MOLD AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated mold cleaning method capable of certainly obtaining a uniform polyurethane molded product and an apparatus therefor. SOLUTION: A planar brush 25 is brought into contact with the upper surface of a mold 1 to be reciprocatingly moved in the length direction of the mold 1 to clean the surface of the mold 1 and subsequently drawn up to replace the mold 1. The planar brush 25 forms a pair and one planar brush is washed within a washing tank while the mold is cleaned by using the other planar brush and, after the mold 1 is cleaned, both brushes forming a pair are drawn up and revolved to be replaced.
