The invention relates to a method and a device for cleaning the inner spaces of cyclone separators, especially in ore reduction systems, comprising a cleaning device which can be introduced into the separator. According to the invention, the caking is removed from the inside wall of the separator parts by means of at least one tool with an essentially horizontal striking movement. Said tool is applied to the inside wall of the cyclone separator in a vertical direction in relation to the axis of the cyclone separator. The inventive device is characterised in that the tool (21) is connected to a tool support device (27), for example a hammer device, which effects the working movement of the tool, and in that said tool support device (27) can be displaced horizontally or vertically in relation to the axis of the cyclone separator in such a way that a working edge (221) of the tool reaches the inner surface of the separator part with the greatest distance from the axis. |
