PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a virtual ski experience apparatus which allows a player to easily and safely enjoy the daring and refreshing mood of jumping as if made on real ski boards. SOLUTION: In this virtual ski experience apparatus, intermediary members 4 are mounted on gliding surfaces of left and right skies 1L and 1R to be placed on a carrier base 3 and a lubricating member comprising a Teflon(R) member is mounted on the undersurface of the intermediary members 4 to reduce a friction coefficient with the carrier base 3 made of stainless steel. The angle of inclination of the carrier base 3 and the skies 1L and 1R is adjustable by varying the length of four cylinders 2 supporting the carrier base 3 while screens 8F and 8L (8R) are arranged in front of and on the right and on left of skiers. Moreover, fans 9F and 9U are located before and askew downward before the skiers. Changes in the angle of inclination of skies developed in the sequence of taking off at a jumping platform after gliding on an approach, flying, falling and landing, air with the fans and scenery projected on a screen are expressed thereby enabling enjoying of virtual experience of jumping ski. |
