摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain powerful braking force using one set of cylinder and piston parts by inserting a compressive force transmission member rotatably between a pad part and an anchor part at a specified angle to a disc face. SOLUTION: Pads 2 are provided on both sides of a disc 1 and fitted to pad receiving members 4 provided behind, and compressive force transmission members 5 are rotatably brought into contact with the pad receiving members 4. The compressive force transmission member 5 has a screw and a cover plate 25 fitted to the upper and lower end parts so as not to fall off, and is fitted at an angleδto a disc face. Braking frictional force generated at a pressing mechanism is transmitted from the pads 2 to anchor parts through the compressive force transmission members 5 so as to generate compressive force in the direction of the angleθand compressive force vertical to the disc face. Vertical compressive force further becomes pressing force so as to heighten braking force as self-boosting mechanism. Large braking force can therefore be obtained without increasing the number of cylinders and pistons or making a device large-sized.</p>
