PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely release contracted state even though the range of contracted part is long by binding a specified number of elastic wires in frong ends and rear ends so as to form a basket part which is expanded in a basket shape by means of its own elasticity in a natural state and is contracted by external force and serially connecting plural basket parts. SOLUTION: The two basket parts A, for example, are serially connected in this indwelling basket 10 indwelt in the contracted part of a biliary path by way of an endoscope and the respective basket parts A are formed by binding the plural elastic wires 11 in the front and rear ends. The respective basket parts A are formed by bending the elastic wires 11 in a smooth curved shape so as to be expanded in a basket shape by the elasticity of the elastic wires 11 in the natural state and contracted by applying the external force. The basket parts A returned to the original basket shape by the elasticity of the elastic wires 11 at the time of removing the external force after being contracted. The elastic wires 11 forming the basket parts A are required more than wires preferably four-eight wires.
