PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for producing CO2 in a carbonated soft drink factory equipped with a private power generation system which makes working possible without problems even in a factory having site conditions under which electric power and CO2 cannot be assured. SOLUTION: This apparatus for production of CO2 comprises the private power generation system 41, a CO2 separating and recovering device 10, a drain freezing and condensing machine 20 and a CO2 liquefying device 30. The CO2 separating device 10 comprises a scrubber 11, a CO2 absorption column 12, a CO2 release column 13, a heat exchanger 14 for cooling and a heat exchanger 15 for preheating. The drain freezing and condensing machine 20 comprises two sets of freezing and concentrating columns 21, 22, a compressor 23, a condenser 24 and a final drain treating device 26. |
