PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for printing a multicolor image on a pressure- sensitive label borne on a web, which uses a disk-shaped mark for each color which forms the image by printing. SOLUTION: A disk (spot) is printed on an image or printed on the upper layer of a web in another place and one disk is printed on another one. Therefore marks coincides in respect to size, shape and position. At the time when misregister occurs as to colors, it appears as a crescent expanding beyond a multicolor disk. This misregister can be inspected visually at once by a video- magnifier by using at least 400 magnifications and can be corrected. |
