PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cam capable of releasing the lock of a car seat easily. SOLUTION: A cam 1 has between a swing shaft 4 and its lock face 3 and round the swing shaft 4 a curved path consisting of a circular-arc interval 6 with a curvature radius R and a receding interval, and a contact face 11 facing toward the curved path. In addition, it has a locking rod 10, a rigid body, swinguable round the swing shaft 4 and a rolling member 9 interposed between the contact face 11 and the curved path. When being in the circular-arc interval 6, the rolling member 9 is locked by the contact face 11 of the locking rod 10. When rolling between both the faces 6 and 11 due to the swing of the locking member 10 caused by an release member and consequently entering the receding interval 7 of the curved path, it is caused to play and let flee. Therefore, in the case the rolling member 9 is in the receding interval 7, the cam 1 can move in the direction of the radius only by the amount of the play, and the lock is released. |
