PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device which is a device to prevent the adhesion of ocean living things on the inside wall of a large-sized intake pipe, is simple in mounting and is capable of easily attaining a large current density with a simple and lightweight structure. SOLUTION: The device to prevent the adhesion of the ocean living things on the inside wall of the intake pipe consists of an electrical insulative resin layer 1 which is adhered to the inside surface of the intake pipe, a plate or net 2 which is made of a good conductive metal and is arranged thereon, a conductive resin layer 3 which is put on the 2 and a conductive band 4 which extends in the longitudinal direction of the intake pipe at least at one point in the circumferential direction of the intake pipe. The conductive band 4 comes into contact with the sea water directly or via the conductive material in the state that the band is insulated from the plate or net 2 described above and the conductive resin layer 3. The plate or net 2 described above is connected to the plus side of a power source and the conductive band 4 is connected to the minus side of the power source. |
