TRANSPARENT RESIN SHEET AND ULTRAVIOLET LIGHT ABSORBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inhibit the yellowing of a transparent resin sheet caused by containing an ultraviolet light absorber to render the transparent resin sheet nearer to water whiteness and to improve the weatherability of the transparent resin sheet as well. SOLUTION: The ultraviolet light absorber to be incorporated into a transparent resin sheet is finely divided to increase the surface areas and to enhance the ultraviolet light shielding effect. The particle size distribution of the ultraviolet light absorber is made 1.5-15μm. An ultraviolet light absorber-containing transparent resin layer may be integrated with the surface of a transparent base layer to form a multi-layer sheet or an ultraviolet light absorber having the above particle distribution may be incorporated into a single-layer transparent resin sheet over its entire thickness direction.
