SYSTEM FOR STABILIZATION OF ASCORBIC ACID BASED ON PHOSPHORIC ACID DERIVATIVE AND METABISULFITE AND COMPOSITION INCLUDING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a system for stabilizing ascorbic acid in compositions in the cosmetic/dermatological field, by including each specific amount of a phosphoric acid derivative and metabisulfite. SOLUTION: This system is obtained by compounding a composition containing 0.01-20 wt.%, preferably, 0.5-10 wt.% ascorbic acid with (A) at least one kind of ethylenediaminetetra(methylene phosphate) in a quantity enough for synergism with a component B, e.g. 0.005-5 wt.%, preferably, 0.05-1 wt.% and (B) at least one kind of metabisulfite, e.g. sodium metabisulfite or potassium metabisulfite in a quantity enough for synergism with the component A, e.g. 0.005-5 wt.%, preferably, 0.05-1 wt.% (The weight ratio of the component B to the component A is 1-1000, preferably, 1-5).
