<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tongue plaque-removing utensil which is hard to cause a vomiting reaction, and in addition, does not hurt tongue, and can efficiently remove tongue plaque by flocking a fiber of which the fineness and the fiber length are respectively specified, on a supporting body. SOLUTION: This tongue plaque-removing utensil is formed of a supporting body 10 at one part of which, a fiber 20 is flocked, and this supporting body 10 is preferably constituted of a handle part 11, and a flocked part 12 with a flat upper surface, which is connected to the tip of the handle part 11, in the same manner as a toothbrush, from the viewpoint of usage. For the fiber 20 being flocked on the supporting body 10, a fiber of which the fineness is 3-40 deniers, and of which the fiber length is 1-10 mm is suitable, and as the fiber 20, either one of a natural bristle or a synthetic fiber is acceptable, but especially, nylon, polyester or their composite fiber are preferable. Also, the flocking density of the flocked surface is made 200 bristles/cm<2> or higher, and by this density, a specially favorable result is obtained in an efficient removal of tongue plaque. In addition, for the flocking of the fiber 20, an electrostatic flocking method is advantageous from the viewpoint that a firm flocked part without a falling out can be obtained.</p> |
