FIELD: sewage treatment. SUBSTANCE: radial settler has cylindrical tank with circular channel in bottom which divides the latter into two concentric sections. Settler also includes systems for delivery of water to be treated and collection of clarified water as well as device for mechanical removal of sediment which includes driving bridge and two groups of scrapers positioned in row over respective spiral lines. Scrapers are used to form brushes secured in arc-shaped side members which are installed by means of independent suspensions on booms hinge-connected to column for rocking in vertical plane. Column interacts with driving bridge through turning support. It is positioned along radial settler axis. EFFECT: improved design. 2 cl, 3 dwg
