PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convenient duplex writing instrument with a plurality of ball point pen writing bodies provided on the front of the writing instrument and ball point pen coating bodies to be applied on writing drawing lines formed by a writing body and provided on the rear of the writing instrument. SOLUTION: In the constitution of a writing instrument, a front shaft 52 and an intermediate shaft 50 and a rotating shaft 33 provided rotatably almost in the range of 120 deg. in an inner hole of the intermediate shaft and provided with two protrusions formed on the front are provided, and the rotating shaft is retained rotatably on the intermediate shaft, and a rear shaft 43 is fitted and fixed on the rear section of the periphery of the rotating shaft protruded on the rear end of the rotating shaft. An appearing and disappearing mechanism of a coating body is provided on the rear of the rotating shaft, and a pair of sliding pieces having cam channels 49a and 49b in the inclined state to be engaged with protrusions 35a and 35b of the rotating shaft and formed on the inner sides facing such other are guided movably only forward and backward to the inner hole of the intermediate, and respective writing bodies are so provided as to move linked with the sliding pieces 48a and 48b on the front of respective sliding pieces. |
