摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove very toxic dioxin generated from a refuse incinerator at a min. cost and max. efficiency. SOLUTION: An exhaust gas from the refuse incinerator is passed through a hot water device 4 to make a high temp. water. The high pressure steam from a steam boiler 1 and the steam of the hot water in the hot water device are jetted out to a smoke cleaning device 2. A highly dense supersaturation steam zone is formed in the smoke cleaning device by overlapping of the steam. When the exhaust gas is passed through the highly dense supersaturation steam zone to be in contact with and captured by the steam, the toxic material such as dioxin contained in the exhaust gas is adsorbed by the steam to be separated into a sewage and air by the difference between respective specific gravities. The air containing steam is separated into water drops and a purified air by an air-water separation device 20. The purified air is discharged from a chimney to the atmosphere. The sewage flows into a water tank and the soil is aggregated to be a sludge. The sludge is disposed in a shut-down type final disposal plant or the sludge is heat decomposed in the reincinerator to be made non-toxic and to be disposed of.</p>
