<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a branch hollow unit with a good production efficiency by introducing a flowable resin into a cavity formed with a plurality of branch parts, press injecting a pressurized fluid from a pressurizing port, guiding a plurality of movable cores to the different branch parts, and forming a hollow part continued from one end to the other end. SOLUTION: A resin R is cooled by a cavity surface to have a high viscosity and heat insulated by a resin of a cavity surface side to have a low viscosity therein. A hollow part H is grown through a core of the cavity while urging the resin having the low viscosity rightward. When a guide core 20 is arrived at a branch point 10, a valve 14A is closed or throttled to stop or suppress a flow-out of the resin R. Or, the valve is opened to release the resin from a discharge port. A movable core 21 is interrupted at a route to the core 20, turned in a direction toward a branch 7, and a Y-shaped hollow part H is formed. The valve 14A is opened to allow the resin R to overflow. And, an intake manifold 1 of the branch hollow unit is formed.</p> |
