<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely drive a drive cord. SOLUTION: This device is provided with a pinion 15 to be driven by a driving motor, a drive cord 12 having a rack 32 to be meshed with the pinion 15, and with a telescopic pole mounted to one end of the drive cord 12, and the drive cord 12 is composed of a slender cord main body 33 made of synthetic resin having both a shaft hole 31 and the rack 32, and of a core line 34 inserted into the shaft hole 31 of the cord main body 33. A projected part 32c is provided for the center of each tooth groove of the rack 32, and a recessed part 15b to be fitted in each projected part 32c of the rack 32 is provided for the teeth 15a of the pinion 15. Since the teeth 15a of the pinion 15 are meshed with the teeth grooves 32b of the rack 32, and each projected part 32c the rack 32 is also fitted in each recessed part 15b of the pinion 15, the slipping and twisting of the drive cord can thereby be eliminated.</p> |
