PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure a reproduction interchangeability with DVD disks by specifying the composition ratios of Ag, In, Sb, Te and N and/or O which are constituent elements of the recording layer. SOLUTION: This photo-recording medium has a first dielectric layer 2, a recording layer 3, a second dielectric layer 4, an alloy layer 5 and a UV effect resin layer 6 on a base plate 1 having a guide groove. Constituent elements of the recording layer 3 are mainly Ag, In, Sb, Te and N and/or O, and respective composition ratios α, β, γ, δ, ε (ε is the total of N and O) (atom %) are 0<α<=6 3<=β<=15, 50<=γ<=65, 20<=δ<=35, 0<=ε<=5, and α+β+γ+δ+ε=100. The recrystallization upper limit linear velocity of the recording layer 3 is 2.5-5.0 m/s. |
