FIELD: forest pest control in forest zones, parks, home gardens, arboretum etc, where utilization of insecticides is undesirable or prohibited. SUBSTANCE: method involves applying aerosole-type protective polymeric compositions containing low-molecular isobutylene polymers (octoles and addition agents) in solvent-propellent, such as C-4 hydrocarbon-isobutane, isobutylene, fraction of C-4 hydrocarbon used in the ratio of 1:1 - 1.4:1 by weight of isobutylene polymers. Addition agents used as markers are fat-dissolving dyes used in the amount of 0.01-0.08 wt.-% of isobutylene polymers. Polymeric compositions are stored in standard aerosol-type containers of 1-l volume. Containers are provided with spraying heads designed for rigid aerosol containers.
