PURPOSE:To increase an accuracy of estimating a drying end period by storing a set weigh reduction ratio with respect to a set finished weight of a drying load, selecting a set weight reduction ratio responsive to the load of an object to be dried at the time of loading, and estimating a drying end timing. CONSTITUTION:Dry air A can be ventilated from one side to the other or vice versa of a storage chamber 2 by forwardly or reversely operating a fan 3 to ventilate the chamber 2 containing two trucks 1, 1' which place to contain objects to be dried such as materials of shredded Japanese white radish at a plurality of upper and lover stages aligned at one side and the other side. In this case, a difference between an initial weight of each object to be dried and a set finished weight is used as a drying load, and a drying finishing time is estimated by drying end timing estimating means 9a based on the load and the set ratio. In this estimation, the larger a magnitude of the load per unit amount of the set finished weight is, the greater the estimated value becomes and the estimation is conducted by selecting a previously stored set weight reduction ratio. |
