PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lightweight hydrogen occlusion body capable of storing at a low pressure. SOLUTION: A tubular graphite 10 formed by a chemical vapor growth method using an organic compound containing iron, nickel, cobalt or palladium or the alloy as a raw material is used as the hydrogen occlusion body. One end of the tubular graphite is closed with graphite and another end is capped with a separated metal. Since the inside part of the tubular graphite is divided into plural spaces by the separated metal fine particles, the tubular graphite having both end parts capped with the metal fine particles is obtained by crushing the tube. |
