PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the three-dimension environment measurement camera by which an entire image is well focused and depth information of an object is obtained in real time. SOLUTION: A plurality of local computers 1b-Nb apply local variance analysis to luminance data from a plurality of photodetectors 1a-Na that are moved along an optical axis for a prescribed distance and arranged in a matrix form to discriminate whether or not a variance reaches a peak. When the variance reaches a peak, the luminance data are stored in memories of the local computers and distance data received from a global computer C are stored in the memories. When the scanning of the photodetectors has been finished, the global computer C provides outputs of image data and the distance data.
