<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner for developing an electrostatic charge image giving a high grade image excellent in thin line reproducibility and gradation, less to scatter and not causing fusion to a developer carrier or leak from a developing vessel. SOLUTION: The toner contains at least a bonding resin and a colorant, and when the wt. average diameter (D4 ) of the toner is represented by X (μm), the cumulative number of particles of 10.8 to <21.0μm is represented by Y and the cumulative number of particles of 21.0-33.0μm is represented by Z both calculated from the number distribution of 1 g of the toner, the toner has a particle size distribution satisfying the conditions 2.5<=X<=8.5, 2.5×10<4> <=Y<=5.0×10<7> and 2.5×10<4> <=Z<=1.0×10<6> .</p> |
