<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a difference from occurring in a change an image picture by a divided area by compressing an input image which is n-divided by an image division part in accordance with the amount of information of a divided image which has been compressed before, storing them in n image encoding compression parts, successively reading out at a multiplex part and generating a compressed image. SOLUTION: An image division part 1 divides an image of the first frame of an image signal (a) into four, for example, A1, B1, C1 and D1 and transmits them to image encoding parts 2A, 2B, 2C and 2D. A compression part 21A compresses a divided image A1 with a compression ration, based on a memory signal b1 of the previous frame, transmits the compressed image signal A1 and a section code for indicating its section to a memory 21B. The memory 21B stores the both and transmits the memory signal b1 for indicating its occupied amount to the compression part 21A. The memory 21B transmits the divided image A1 to an OR gate 35 of the multiplex part 3 and, after finishing, outputs a section signal. The divided signal A1 is compressed and outputted from the OR gate 35. Similarly, B1, C1 and D1 are outputted.</p> |
