PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the thinning of endurance initial density, to prevent image flowing and to form a high-quality image. SOLUTION: Through the usable period of a process cartridge 43, developing bias is applied on a developing sleeve 10 in order to optimize the flying amount of positive additive added to developer and having a reverse polarity to the developer to a photoreceptor, and the area of the waveform component of the developing bias to make the positive additive fly to the photoreceptor 1 from the sleeve 10 to the surface potential of a non-printing part on the photoreceptor, that is, flying side area is fluctuated in accordance with the number of printed sheets in the process cartridge 43. |
