PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber end face processing device capable of uniform end face processing work. SOLUTION: A mirror finished surface 28a for working the end surface of an optical fiber into a smooth surface is provided on a heating part 25, so that the mirror finished surface 28a can be heated. An optical connector fixing part 40 for supporting an optical connector in such a manner as to be vertically movable in substantially vertical posture is provided in the upper part of the heating part 25. An topical fiber 4a protruded from the ferrule 1 end part of an optical connector 11 is brought into contact with the mirror finish surface 28a. The optical connector 11 is pressed down by a pressing part. The optical fiber 4a is fused, the stepped part 1a of the optical connector 11 is engaged with the upper peripheral part of a support part 43 in the position were the ferrule 1 end part makes contact with the mirror finish surface 28a to regulate the downward movement of the optical connector 11.
