PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable use of a regenerative body in a wider range. SOLUTION: A nozzle support body (injection port forming means) 6 which is so arranged to separate an air throat 2 internally equipped with a regenerative body 4 and a combustion space 8 in a radiant tube to be shut down therebetween is provided with injection holes 3 arranged so biased to inscribe or in proximity to the inner circumferential surface of the radiant tube 1 and for example, at least one exhaust hole 7 to be opened or closed by a flapper 9 as exhaust means 10 which is so arranged to open only when an exhaust gas is discharged from the inside of the radiant tube 1 for communication between the inside of the radiant tube 1 and the inside of the air throat 2. During the combustion with a burner, air for combustion is injected only through the injection hole 3. But during the stoppage of the combustion, the exhaust gas can be discharged not only from the injection hole 3 but also from the exhaust hole 7 as the exhaust means 10. |
