PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a facsimile equipment connected to LAN(local area network), or the like which can correspond to both of a facsimile and a telephone and can connect the outside line directly to a communication terminal equipment. SOLUTION: When a incoming call signal from a telephone line L is a CNG signal, the signal is judged to be for facsimile reception, a facsimile transmitting control procedure is executed and the facsimile equipment 1 executes facsimile communication. On the other hand, at the time of judging the signal for a speech signal (normal telephone), a message for allowing an opposite party of the telephone line (outside line) L to input a client number) is sent from the equipment 1. Then, when the client number is inputted from the opposed party of the outside line, a personal computer 2 used by a specific user (an opposite party desired to speak with) and the outside line are directly connected with each other through a coaxial cable 5. Thus, the opposite part of the outside wire and the personal computer 2 of the client are directly connected with each other. |
