PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily confirm a correction place, to surely prevent the correction place from being left without being corrected and to surely prevent a part which need not be corrected from being erroneously corrected by producing correction instructing data from first and second image data related to a proofreading substance before and after correction and outputting a correction instructing part from the correction instruction data as an area being different from the other area. SOLUTION: The first image data DG1 are produced by inputting the image of the original proofreading substance. Besides, the second image data DG2 are produced by inputting the image of the proofreading substance on which a correcting instruction is written. By a red character extraction device B, the first and the second image data DG1 and DG2 supplied from an input device A are compared and the correction instruction written in red characters is extracted as red character data DR. By a plate collecting device C, a screen for displaying the correction instruction by using the data DR and plate collecting data DS for designating layout and a screen for displaying a proofreading paper before the correction are superposed and displayed. Thus, an operator can confirm the correction instruction on the screen. |
