The procedure uses a profiled joint formed from a bed plate (3) which is positioned on the section of the opening with lips (4,5) extending perpendicular to the bed plate to ensure sealing with a complementary closure. Two ends of two segments (1,2) of the joint are cut with a mitered shape, in order to allow the two parts of the joint to be positioned adjacent to each other. The external lip is cut in the same way at the level of the end of each segment of the joint. The cut piece is then covered with an additional piece which is shaped to complement the cut pieces.
