PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a document preparing device capable of securing a multiple functions by evading the complexity of a screen without increasing the number of icons which are displayed on an initial screen as the entrances of functions, and a recording medium. SOLUTION: In a device, which displays plural icons on an initial screen of a display device 3 as the entrances of different functions, an icon display means is provided to prepare plural function entrances for a single icon by displaying an icon in another. The icon display means displays an icon so as to show the rough sorting of functions when an icon is displayed in another. The icon displayed in another is discriminated by the function to be especially characterized or a pattern showing the fine sorting of functions and therefore displayed as an entrance corresponding to its relevant function. |
