PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connector socket of which lower contact pins can be bent correctly. SOLUTION: This connector socket is constituted by placing contact supporting part, stretched in the generally horizontal direction in a condition protruding into the inside of a plug insertion hole, forming multiple horizontal contact insertion holes and multiple pin fixing slots continuing to the contact insertion holes above and below the contact supporting part, inserting multiple upper and lower contact pins 3, 4 in two rows having contact parts 3a, 4a at their tips into each corresponding pin fixing slot from the back side of the plug insertion hole and bending external connection ends 3b, 4b of the contact pins 3, 4 from intermediate bending parts 3c, 4c downward almost at a right angle. In this case, at least each of the intermediate bending parts 4c of the lower contact pins 4 has a through-hole 10 formed at the center of its width direction and a choke part 11, which becomes a weak part in strength in bending by the formation of the through-hole 10, is formed on both sides of the through-hole 10. |
