<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress the degradation in awaking of a person listening to the reproduced tones of an audio apparatus. SOLUTION: This audio apparatus is provided with a DVD player 10 capable of reproducing tones above 20 kHz. The reproduction sampling frequency of the DVD player 10 is controlled by a frequency instruction device 12. The reproduction sampling frequency is changed over from 96 kHz to 48 kHz in accordance with the timing signal from a timer 14, by which the reproduction band is changed from 48 kHz to 24 kHz. The increase of a listener'sαwaves is suppressed and the awaking is maintained by selectively shutting off the tones exclusive of an audible frequency range.</p> |
