PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a color picture forming method to perform a picture formation simple, rapid and low in load to the environment, by incorporating a specified compd. and a specified silver halide emulsion into a silver halide color photographic sensitive material. SOLUTION: A compd. expressed by formula I or II is incorporated into the material. In at least one kind of silver halide emulsion incorporated in the material, the silver chloride content of particles consisting of the silver halide emulsion is >=50 mol.%. and more than 50% of the total projected area of the particles consisting of the silver halide emulsion is occupied with platelike particles in which a main surface of the particles is composed of (111) face. Then, an average particle thickness of the platelike particles is <=0.3μm and average aspect ratio is 2-80. In the formula I and II, Ra and Rb are each an alkyl, alkenyl, aralkyl, aryl group or heterocyclic ring. But, a sum of carbon numbers of the Ra and Rb is >=14. Moreover, M is hydrogen atom, ammonium or an alkali metal atom. And, Rc is an aryl group. But, the sum of the carbon numbers of the Rc is >=10.
