PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inspect a damage of the inner surface of a boiler tube without detaching the heat insulating material on the outside of a furnace. SOLUTION: An oblique angle probe 8 for transmitting ultrasonic wave and an oblique angle probe 9 for receiving ultrasonic wave are arranged left and right at a required interval. The front and rear surfaces of the probes 8, 9 are held between support plates 11 extending in a left and right direction, and the probe 9 is fixed to the support plates 11 while the clamp screws 12 passed through the slots of the support plates 11 are threaded with the probe 8 to make the interval between the probes 8, 9 adjustable. Vibrator variable angle adjusting jigs 22 are incorporated in the probes 8, 9 to make the angle of refraction of ultrasonic waves variable. |
