Preparation of food products (I) comprising phyllitic clays (II) (illite (III), kaolinite (IV), smectite (V), bentonite and/or montmorillonoids), is new. The method comprises mixing a food product (VII) with (II), optionally together with a suspension-promoting agent and/or an acidifying agent to promote the migration of certain minerals (VIII) contained in (II). |
