Identification of persons for control of access to locations or information

The identification system uses a telecommunications link between a terminal where the smart card is inserted and a central server. The card identifies the holder or the right to access a service, and holds unique information which is known only to the server. The server holds and manages the information permitting delivery of the service to which the card opens rights.
