PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a copying system in which a scanner and a printer are connected, being made possible to recognize a trouble even the printer controller side, in the case that the trouble occurs during the time when a printer engine for performing image formation is occupied by the scanner. SOLUTION: This printer is provided with the printer engine 11 performing printing out, the printer controller 4 receiving data from a computer 50 and performing the print put of the same, the scanner 2 reading the original image and performing the print out of the data of the image being read, an interface switching section 3 switching whether the printer engine 11 is occupied by the print roller 4 or the printer engine 11 is occupied by the scanner 2, and a controlling section 31 making the trouble possible to be recognized by the printer controller 4 in the case that the trouble occurs when the printer engine is occupied by the scanner 2. |
