PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transfer a picture without imposing a burden on the server of a transmission destination. SOLUTION: At this picture transfer device, a picture input part 2002 fetches a picture to transmit and a picture registering part 2005 registers this fetched picture to a server such as a proxy server 12 connected to a network such as LAN 80 (local area network). On the other hand, an electronic mail managing part 2006 transmits the address of the server registering the picture to the transmitting destination of the picture as an electronic mail. Thereby, only the address of the server registering the picture is transmitted to the transmitting destination of the picture as an electronic mail to refer to the picture without imposing a burden on the server of the transmitting destination. |
